Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

You have addressed all three bullet points in the prompt: explaining your suitability, offering additional help, and stating your reasons for wanting the job. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For example, when mentioning what else you could do for the family, you only suggest a discount and a trial period, which are not really 'extra' services for the family's daily life. To improve, you should provide more concrete examples of how you could assist, such as helping with household chores or preparing traditional meals. The tone is generally appropriate for a formal letter, though the opening and closing salutations need adjustment to match the prompt's requirements.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The letter is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your points. You use some cohesive devices like 'Therefore' and 'However' to link ideas. However, the flow is occasionally interrupted by awkward phrasing and punctuation errors, such as the sentence 'That , you need a tutor...'. The use of referencing is sometimes unclear, and the transition between the introduction and the body paragraphs could be smoother. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear, singular focus that connects naturally to the next.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

You have a sufficient range of vocabulary to convey your message, but there are several spelling errors throughout the text, such as 'allot' (a lot), 'oppertunity', 'chanlllenge', 'explosure', and 'aniticaption'. These errors are noticeable and detract from the professional quality of the letter. While you attempt to use some relevant vocabulary related to teaching, the word choice is often basic. To improve, focus on proofreading your work to eliminate simple spelling mistakes and try to incorporate more precise, topic-specific vocabulary to demonstrate a wider range.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

You use a mix of simple and some complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow of reading. Examples include 'i am learn this language' (I have been learning), 'everyone speaks Punjabi with each other' (to each other), and 'This will the great position' (This would be a great position). Additionally, there are issues with subject-verb agreement and article usage. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of these errors prevents a higher score. Focus on mastering basic verb tenses and ensuring consistent subject-verb agreement.
