Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The letter addresses all three bullet points, though the development of ideas is somewhat limited. You explain your suitability through your experience and certification, mention your willingness to contribute, and provide reasons for wanting the job. However, the tone is occasionally inappropriate for a personal letter to a family; for example, stating you need the job because you 'need money to survive' is overly blunt and unprofessional. To improve, focus on highlighting how your skills will benefit the children's development rather than focusing on your personal financial situation, which makes the letter feel less like a professional application and more like a desperate request.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The letter is organized into logical paragraphs, and the progression of ideas is generally clear. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Moreover,' 'Furthermore,' and 'In addition,' which help link your points. However, some transitions feel a bit mechanical, and the flow between the introduction and the body paragraphs could be smoother. The paragraphing is appropriate for a formal letter, but ensure that each paragraph has a clear thematic focus to improve the overall structure. The use of 'Yours Faithfully' is correct for a letter where the recipient's name is unknown, which is appropriate given your opening.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, such as 'keen interest,' 'results-oriented,' and 'expertise.' However, there are some awkward collocations and word choices, such as 'six base company' (which is unclear) and 'Australian language' (which is not a specific language name). The repetition of 'application' and 'position' throughout the text limits the variety. To reach a higher band, try to use more precise terminology related to teaching and childcare, and avoid repetitive phrasing by using synonyms or rephrasing your sentences.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

There are several grammatical errors that occur throughout the text, such as 'I writing' (should be 'I am writing'), 'as tutor' (should be 'as a tutor'), and 'I am agree' (should be 'I agree'). While you attempt some complex sentence structures, these are often marred by errors in verb tense or article usage. The punctuation is generally functional, but the sentence structure remains somewhat simplistic. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles, as these frequent minor errors currently prevent the writing from reaching a higher level of accuracy.
