Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

You have addressed all three bullet points in the prompt: explaining your suitability, offering additional help, and stating your reasons for wanting the job. However, the development of these ideas is quite limited. For example, while you mention your teaching experience, you do not elaborate on your specific teaching methods or why you are particularly suited to teach children. The tone is also inconsistent; you begin with 'Dear Sir' (which is inappropriate given the prompt specifies a couple) and use 'Yours faithfully' instead of 'Yours sincerely'. To improve, ensure you expand on your points with more detail and use a more natural, professional tone throughout the letter.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The letter is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your points. However, the use of cohesive devices is very limited and sometimes mechanical. There is a lack of linking words to connect your ideas smoothly. For instance, the transition between your experience and your offer to help with the family routine is abrupt. The referencing is also occasionally unclear, such as in the phrase 'I am help to your children', which makes the flow of information difficult to follow. Improving your use of transition signals like 'furthermore', 'consequently', or 'in addition' would significantly enhance the logical progression of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

Your vocabulary is basic and often repetitive. There are several instances of word-choice errors and awkward phrasing, such as 'I am writing to letter regarding to advertisement see in social media' and 'I would be adopt my teaching schedule'. These errors occasionally make it difficult for the reader to understand your exact meaning. You rely on simple, high-frequency words and struggle to use more precise terminology related to teaching or professional communication. To reach a higher band, you should focus on learning collocations and using more varied, topic-specific vocabulary to express your ideas more accurately and naturally.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including issues with verb tenses ('I am teacher in English since 6 year'), subject-verb agreement, and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragmented or contain incorrect word order, such as 'I am help to your children to teaching'. While the meaning is generally understandable, these persistent errors require the reader to make an effort to interpret your message. You should focus on mastering basic sentence construction, specifically the use of articles, prepositions, and correct verb forms, before attempting more complex structures.
