• give your reasons for wanting the job

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Batra,

My name is Ishika and I am a student at the University of Melbourne. I am writing this email to enquire about the Hindi tutor job vacancy that you advertised in today's newspaper.

I have studied up-to high school in my regional language that is Hindi. Additionally, I do have a good command on Hindi grammar so I can teach how to read and write too, along with speaking. Currently, I am looking for a surviving job that can help me to look after my expenses like rent and groceries as I am an international student; I can take care of your children while you are at work, so you would not require to hire a nanny for them. I have raised my niece and nephew before I moved to Australia, so I am very familiar with children around me.
