Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0
The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 150 words, which significantly impacts the development of the required points. While you mention your experience and interest, the ideas are underdeveloped and repetitive. You did not adequately address the requirement to 'say what else you could do for the family' beyond teaching, and the reasons for wanting the job are vague. To improve, you must expand on each bullet point with specific details, such as mentioning household help, childcare duties, or cultural exchange, and ensure the letter is long enough to fully explore these topics.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The letter lacks a clear structure and logical progression. There is no paragraphing, which makes the text difficult to follow. Cohesive devices are largely absent; sentences are linked in a mechanical and repetitive way, such as starting multiple sentences with 'My'. The opening 'Dear sir, Mdm' is appropriate, but the lack of a formal closing and the disjointed flow of ideas hinder the overall coherence of the letter.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is very basic and repetitive. You rely on simple words like 'job', 'teach', and 'learn' throughout the text. There are also errors in word choice, such as 'well educator' instead of 'experienced educator' or 'qualified teacher'. The range is insufficient to express complex ideas or professional intentions effectively. To reach a higher band, you should incorporate more precise, topic-specific vocabulary related to teaching, childcare, and professional qualifications.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
There are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. Examples include 'My experience of this job from 3 years ago' (incorrect tense/preposition), 'I am well educator' (missing article/incorrect noun form), and 'I love childrens' (incorrect pluralization). The sentence structures are simple and lack variety. There is a lack of control over basic grammar, such as subject-verb agreement and article usage. You need to focus on sentence construction and proofreading for basic errors.
