Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

You have addressed all three bullet points in the prompt: explaining your suitability, offering additional help, and stating your reasons for wanting the job. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, while you mention your Master's degree, you could have elaborated more on your teaching style or experience with children to make your application more persuasive. The tone is generally appropriate for a letter, though it lacks the professional polish expected in a formal application. To improve, ensure that each point is expanded with specific details rather than just stating facts, which will help you better meet the requirements for a higher band score.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The letter is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your points. You use some basic cohesive devices like 'Moreover' and 'However' to link ideas. However, the flow between sentences is occasionally disjointed, and some transitions feel mechanical. For example, the jump from discussing your teaching qualifications to your accounting skills is quite abrupt. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and ensure that each paragraph has a clear, singular focus. Additionally, the punctuation, particularly the lack of capitalization for proper nouns and the start of sentences, occasionally hinders the smooth progression of your ideas.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

Your vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing you to communicate your main points clearly. You use some relevant terms such as 'advertisement', 'native language', and 'accounting'. However, there are several instances of word-choice errors and spelling mistakes, such as 'knowinig', 'wolud', and 'faithfull'. The range of vocabulary is somewhat limited and relies on basic structures. To reach a higher band, try to incorporate more precise, topic-specific vocabulary related to teaching or professional correspondence, and pay closer attention to spelling and the correct usage of collocations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

You demonstrate a mix of simple and some complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Issues include missing articles ('after coming australia'), incorrect verb forms ('i have finish'), and inconsistent capitalization ('mr & mrs. patel', 'i'). These errors are noticeable and occasionally distract the reader, although they do not fully impede communication. To improve, focus on basic sentence construction, subject-verb agreement, and the correct use of articles. Proofreading your work for capitalization and basic punctuation errors would significantly improve the accuracy of your writing.
