Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses all three bullet points: your suitability, additional help, and your motivation. However, the development of these ideas is limited. For example, you mention your M.A. and teaching course, but you do not explain how these specifically prepare you to teach children. The section on what else you could do is vague, as you only mention 'no harassment' and 'smoothly handle' the case, which are not clear contributions to a family. To improve, you should provide more concrete examples of your teaching methods or how you would integrate into their household. The tone is also somewhat informal and lacks the professional polish expected in a formal letter of application.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The letter is organized into three paragraphs, which is appropriate for the task. However, the progression of ideas is often disjointed. The transition between your qualifications and your motivation is abrupt. You use some cohesive devices like 'Basically' and 'Now', but they are used in a limited or slightly unnatural way. The referencing is sometimes unclear, such as in the phrase 'this case' or 'this one', which makes it difficult for the reader to follow your meaning. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear, singular focus would significantly enhance the flow of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is quite limited and repetitive, relying on basic words like 'job', 'money', and 'give'. There are several instances of word-choice errors, such as 'complete in M.A.' instead of 'have completed an M.A.' and 'fee amount' instead of 'tuition fees'. You also use non-standard phrasing like 'speek very much' and 'out language'. While your meaning is generally understandable, the lack of precision and the frequent errors in collocation and spelling (e.g., 'morthan', 'shotstorys', 'operchunity') indicate a restricted range of vocabulary that struggles to convey professional intent effectively.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5

There is a high frequency of grammatical errors throughout the text, which often impedes clarity. You struggle with basic sentence construction, verb tenses, and subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'I have seen an advertisement in paper', 'I prepare for phd', 'this job give to me'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the use of commas and the informal sign-off. You rely almost exclusively on simple sentence structures, and attempts at more complex sentences are often grammatically incorrect. To improve, you need to focus on basic sentence building, correct verb tense usage, and ensuring that your sentences have a clear subject and verb.
