I believe I could be a good fit for this position because I have 5 years of solid experience in teaching language to both children as well as adults. Moreover, I previously worked at a primary school which means I can also help your children which other subjects like mathematics.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0

You have addressed all three bullet points in the prompt: explaining your suitability, offering additional help, and providing reasons for wanting the job. The tone is appropriate for a formal letter. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For example, while you mention your teaching experience, you could have elaborated more on your specific teaching methodology for children. The reasons for wanting the job are clear, but the mention of your wife's pregnancy feels slightly disconnected from the professional context of the letter. Overall, you have fulfilled the requirements of the task effectively.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The letter is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a closing. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Moreover', 'Furthermore', and 'Additionally' to link your ideas. However, the transition between the offer of yoga classes and the reasons for wanting the job is a bit abrupt. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate different topics. To improve, ensure that your sentences flow more naturally into one another, perhaps by using more varied linking phrases or by ensuring that the connection between your personal circumstances and the job application is more explicitly stated.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, such as 'prestigious', 'certified', and 'discounted rate'. There are some minor errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'requirement of tutor' (should be 'a requirement for a tutor') and 'help your children which other subjects' (should be 'help your children with other subjects'). While the vocabulary is sufficient to convey your meaning clearly, it lacks the sophistication and precision required for higher band scores. Expanding your repertoire of professional and descriptive language would enhance your writing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors, such as 'I am BA, MA in Hindi' (should be 'I hold a BA and MA in Hindi'), 'give your family yoga classes' (should be 'I could give your family yoga classes'), and 'Looking forward to hear from you' (should be 'Looking forward to hearing from you'). These errors do not impede communication, but they occur frequently enough to prevent a higher score. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of gerunds after certain phrases will help improve your accuracy.
