Dear Sir,

I am wirting in response to your advertisment seeking someone to teach your children your native language for a year. I would be delighted to apply for this position, as I believe that my language skills, patience and experience working with people would make me a suitable candidate.

I am a native Gujarati speaker and have a strong command of both spoken and written Gujarati. I am also comfortable in English, which would enable me to explain new vocabulary and grammatical concepts clearly to your children. I am patient, approachable and enthusiatic, and I would make lessons engaging by incorpoprating stories, games, songs and everyday conversations.

In addition to the teaching language, I could assist your family with various household responsibilities. For instance, I could help the children with their homework, prepare simple meals, accompany them to local activites, and introduce them to Indian culture, including festivals, traditional food and customs.

I am particularly interested in this opportunity because I would like to experience Australian family life and immerse myself in a different culture. Spending a year with your family would allow me to broaden my horizons, develop my communication skills.
