Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address the main purpose by introducing your teaching experience and explaining that you want the position because your school contract will end. Your work with children and language teaching is relevant evidence of suitability. However, the response only partly covers the requested points: it does not clearly explain what additional help you could offer the family, and your reasons for wanting the job are limited to seeking part-time work. Some details about the orphanage and its funding do not clearly show how they relate to the couple’s needs. Develop each bullet point with specific, relevant examples, and make your suitability and motivation clearer.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
The letter contains relevant information, but it is presented as one long paragraph, so the reader has little help distinguishing your qualifications, possible contribution to the family, and reasons for applying. Ideas sometimes move abruptly—for example, from the centre’s funding to your role as a communication officer, then to language teaching. Linking phrases such as “In addition to teaching, I could…” and “I am applying because…” would make the progression clearer. Use separate paragraphs for the three main points and ensure each sentence develops the point before moving on. The opening and closing also need to follow a clear letter format.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary, including “part time job,” “communication officer,” “teaching languages,” and “orphanage,” which helps convey your experience. However, the range is limited and several word choices or spellings make the message less clear or natural, such as “friendship zone,” “satisfy them,” and “I am interesting in this job.” Repeated use of “good” also gives little detail about your strengths. Choose precise expressions for working with children and supporting a family, and check spelling and word forms. More natural collocations would make your qualifications easier to understand and present you more professionally.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt to connect ideas in longer sentences, but the range of structures is limited and errors are frequent enough to make some sentences difficult to follow. For example, “My self is M.Bilal” and “I am also live in the same region” show problems with sentence construction and verb forms. There are also issues with articles, plurals, and agreement in phrases such as “younger childrens” and “a centers.” Punctuation is inconsistent, with many ideas joined in a single paragraph. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them using clauses such as “because” and “which.” Check each sentence for a clear subject and correctly formed verb.
