Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address all three requested points: you explain your teaching background and language knowledge, offer childcare and household help, and state that you want the role to support further education. These details make the letter relevant and give the couple a useful outline of your suitability. However, some points are asserted rather than explained. For example, saying you know Australian culture and weather does not show how this would help you teach the children, and your reason for wanting the job could be linked more clearly to your educational plans. Develop these ideas with a specific example, such as how your teaching experience would help you plan lessons or what you hope to study. The purpose is clear overall, though a few details remain unclear.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The letter has a clear overall arrangement: you introduce your application, describe your qualifications, list additional help you can provide, and close by expressing hope for a reply. Paragraphing helps separate these functions, and phrases such as “Also” and “I hope” guide the reader through the message. At times, however, the links between ideas feel mechanical or unclear. The sentence about your Australian visa and visits moves quickly into culture and languages without explaining the connection, while the references to documents and payment arrive abruptly. Use clearer transitions and group related information—for example, keep teaching qualifications together, then introduce household support and your motivation in a separate paragraph. This would make the progression smoother and clarify how each detail supports your application.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to the situation, including “tutor,” “part time job,” “house keeping,” “references,” and “education certificates,” so the reader can understand the main areas of your experience. There are also attempts to describe a range of skills, such as “laundry, cleaning, cooking as well as gardening.” However, spelling errors and imprecise or unnatural phrases are noticeable, including “adveriesment,” “mother tounge,” and “for my further higher education.” Some expressions, such as “regarding advertisement on social page,” are also not idiomatic. These issues reduce precision and can make the letter less professional. Check spelling carefully and choose conventional phrases such as “in response to your advertisement” and “to support my further studies.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You communicate the main message using mostly simple sentences, and there are some attempts to combine ideas, for example, “I also have basic knowledge about house keeping like laundry, cleaning, cooking as well as gardening so i can help with that.” The overall meaning is generally recoverable, but some grammatical errors affect clarity and control. In “i do have australian visa i have been visited,” two clauses are joined without suitable punctuation, and the verb form in “have been visited” is incorrect for describing your own visits. There are also missing articles and inconsistent capitalisation, as in “regarding advertisement” and “i.” Practise accurate past and present-perfect forms, and divide longer sentences into correctly punctuated clauses. This will help you show a more controlled mix of sentence structures.
