Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter to infom my strong interest in the job you have published in the newspaper.
I have completed my post graduate in business and am also studied Hindi as my second language, therefor I believe that it would be easy for me for teaching your kids about our mother tongue. Moreover, I love childern and also like to play with them.
Furthermore, I am able to give my full-time availability towards this job, because I need long hours for a while. Although, I can takecare your childern and house when you are away with your work.
I am interested in this position beacuse, I have keen interest in the field of teaching. In addition,I am planning to study more in business from one of the universities, therefor it would be great opportunity to me for raising some tution fee from my work.
I am attaching my resume with this mail and hope a positive response from your side. Thank you for considering my application.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address all three requested points: you explain your suitability through your Hindi studies and enjoyment of children, offer to care for the children and house, and give reasons for applying, including your interest in teaching and need to fund further study. These ideas are relevant, but some are less fully developed than others. For example, saying you studied Hindi does not explain your proficiency or how you would teach the children, and “take care your children and house” could be made more specific. The reason about needing “long hours” is also unclear. A more direct, personalised opening and a clearer explanation of your teaching experience or approach would make the application more convincing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The letter has a clear overall arrangement: it introduces the application, discusses suitability, offers additional help, explains motivation, and closes politely. Paragraphing helps the reader follow these stages. You also use linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “Furthermore,” and “Although.” However, some connections feel mechanical or do not express the intended relationship accurately; for instance, “Although” introduces an incomplete contrast, and “therefor” is used where a result or reason needs clearer phrasing. The final paragraph combines your study plans, tuition costs, and application closing quite abruptly. Use fewer formulaic transitions and make the relationship between each idea explicit to improve the flow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
Your vocabulary is sufficient to communicate the main purpose of the letter, with relevant terms such as “availability,” “teaching,” and “position.” However, noticeable spelling, word-form, and collocation errors reduce precision, including “infom,” “childern,” “takecare,” “post graduate,” and “raising some tution fee.” Some expressions are also unnatural for a job application: “published in the newspaper” and “hope a positive response from your side” sound less idiomatic than standard application wording. These choices do not prevent the reader from understanding your main points, but they limit the range and naturalness of the language. Check spelling carefully and learn common phrases for describing qualifications, childcare, and motivation.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including clauses with “because” and “Although,” and the overall meaning is generally clear. Some grammatical errors remain, particularly in verb forms and sentence construction. For example, “am also studied Hindi” should use a consistent verb form, while “it would be easy for me for teaching” needs a more accurate infinitive pattern. “Although, I can takecare…” is not a complete contrast structure, and “I have keen interest” is missing an article. Punctuation also needs attention: there are missing spaces after full stops in “teaching. In addition” and “universities, therefor.” Review verb patterns, articles, and how to join clauses; these changes would make your varied sentences more controlled.
