Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address all three requested points: you explain your suitability through your Punjabi skills and ability to communicate with children, offer help with homework and household tasks, and give reasons for wanting the position, including experiencing life in Australia and learning English. These ideas are relevant and the purpose of the letter is clear. However, some points are less fully developed than others. For example, “help your children about homework and cleaning and other things” is vague; specify what practical support you can provide. Your reasons for applying are also crowded into one unclear sentence. Develop each point with a little more explanation, and use an appropriate greeting and closing, such as “Dear Sir or Madam” and “Yours faithfully.”

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The letter has a broadly sensible order: you introduce the application, describe your suitability, mention additional help, and then explain your motivation. Paragraph breaks help separate these topics, and linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “Apart from,” and “Furthermore” show an effort to connect ideas. However, progression becomes difficult to follow in the motivation paragraph, especially in “However, i am interested in this job owing to this,” where the relationship between ideas is unclear. Some links feel mechanical, and the final lines (“I would enjoy with your children. I look forword”) do not form a complete, well-organised ending. Use clearer transitions, keep each paragraph focused on one purpose, and finish with a complete closing sentence.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant vocabulary for the situation, including “mother tongue,” “communicating with children,” “lessons,” and “experience life in Australia.” This gives you enough language to convey the main message. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make the letter less polished, such as “resposse,” “advertissment,” “suittable,” and “diffrent.” Some expressions are also unnatural or imprecise: “help your children about homework” and “I would enjoy with your children” do not express your meaning naturally. Choose accurate collocations and check spelling carefully. For instance, say “help your children with their homework” and “I would enjoy spending time with your children.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple sentences and longer sentences with reasons and added information, for example, “I believe that I would be suitable for this job because Punjabi is my mother tongue.” The main message is generally understandable, but errors in sentence construction and verb forms sometimes make the reader work to interpret your meaning. In “I would live to experience life in Australia and i learn about diffrent culture,” the verb forms do not fit together; use “I would like to experience life in Australia and learn about a different culture.” The phrase “I would to working with childern” also needs a correct verb pattern, such as “I would like to work with children.” Check sentence boundaries, capitalisation of “I,” and punctuation around introductory phrases.
