Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address all three requested points: you describe teaching experience, offer help with childcare and household duties, and explain that the job would help cover expenses while you explore Australia. These ideas are relevant, and the reader can understand your purpose. However, some points are less fully developed than others. For example, “various methods to teach” does not explain what methods or experience make you especially suitable, and the offer to care for the house and children could be made more specific. Your reason for wanting the job is clear but could also include a personal interest in teaching or cultural exchange. A more direct, confident closing would make the application more convincing.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The letter has a clear overall arrangement: it introduces the advertisement, discusses your suitability, offers additional help, and then gives your reasons for applying. Paragraphing supports this progression, and signposts such as “Firstly,” “Furthermore,” and “Finally” help the reader follow the main points. At times, however, these links feel mechanical, and some connections between ideas are unclear. For instance, the sentence beginning “As i will be staying…” runs into the offer of household help without a clear transition. The final lines also move abruptly from your reasons to the request for a response. Use a wider range of natural transitions and make each paragraph focus on one connected purpose.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

Your vocabulary is sufficient to communicate the main ideas, including teaching experience, individual lessons, childcare, and household duties. However, spelling errors and imprecise or unnatural expressions are noticeable, such as “reagding,” “advertisment,” “tought,” and “wellknow places.” Some phrases also do not sound natural in a formal application: “one on one lecture” and “pay off my expenses” could be expressed more appropriately. These choices do not prevent the reader from understanding your message, but they limit precision and polish. Check spelling carefully and learn common collocations for job applications, teaching, and travel. More precise wording would help present you as a confident and suitable candidate.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, and the main message is generally understandable. Some grammatical errors remain, particularly in verb forms, articles, and sentence boundaries. For example, “which was publish” needs a past participle, while “I will required a job” has an incorrect verb form. In “As i will be staying in Australia for couple of months soi can provide…,” the clauses need clearer punctuation and an article before “couple.” Capitalisation of “I” is also inconsistent. These errors sometimes make sentences harder to read, although the intended meaning is usually recoverable. Practise accurate past-tense forms and use full stops or commas to separate ideas in longer sentences.
