Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You address the main purpose by describing your teaching experience and explaining that you want to develop your career. However, the task’s three points are not all covered clearly. Your suitability is supported with relevant details about teaching children abroad and using songs and tongue-twister games, but the experience and qualifications are not explained precisely. Your reasons for wanting the job are stated, though they remain general. Most importantly, you do not say what else you could do for the family beyond teaching, such as helping the children practise your language in everyday activities. Develop each point explicitly and tailor the letter to the couple and their children.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The letter has a generally clear sequence: you introduce your interest, describe your teaching background and methods, explain your individual approach, and give your reasons for applying. Paragraph breaks help distinguish these stages. Some connections are less smooth, however. The second paragraph contains several ideas in one long sentence, while the third repeats the idea of giving individual attention. Linking words such as “so” are used repeatedly, and “therefor” does not clearly connect the ideas as intended. Use shorter sentences to separate your qualifications, teaching methods, and additional help for the family, and make each paragraph advance a distinct point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use some relevant vocabulary for teaching, including “pronunciation,” “sentence structure,” “spelling and grammar,” and “career aspirations.” These terms show an adequate range for the topic, and the reader can generally understand your meaning. However, several word choices and collocations are unnatural or imprecise, such as “teaching stream,” “in details,” “grab easily,” and “build a strong professionalism.” There are also spelling or word-form problems, including “therefor” and “certify trainer.” Aim for natural phrases such as “teaching experience,” “in detail,” and “understand the material easily.” More precise language would make your qualifications and motivation sound clearer and more professional.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including a sentence explaining how games can help children learn. The main ideas are usually understandable, but some grammatical errors affect clarity and control. For example, “I am writing to this letter” has an incorrect sentence pattern, and “I take online class for a children who lives abroad” has problems with articles, number, and subject–verb agreement. In “I have been working in teaching stream for a four years,” the tense pattern and article use are inaccurate. Punctuation and spacing are also inconsistent, particularly around full stops. Practise accurate article use, agreement, and sentence boundaries while retaining your attempts at complex structures.
