Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address all three requested points: you describe your teaching experience and Hindi qualification, offer cooking and help with accommodation, and explain that you want a new job and the chance to explore your country. These details make the letter relevant, but the reasons are not always clearly matched to the family’s needs. For example, “book your accommodation facilities in my village” is unclear and may not be useful to a family living in Australia, while your reason for wanting the job focuses mainly on losing your previous job. Develop how your teaching experience would benefit the children and explain more specifically what you could contribute to family life. The purpose is understandable, though the request and closing could be expressed more naturally and clearly.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The letter has a recognisable structure, with separate paragraphs for your suitability, additional help, reasons for applying, and a closing. Connectors such as “First of all,” “Moreover,” and “In addition” help signal the sequence of points. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow: “However” does not introduce a clear contrast, and “For furthermore” combines linking expressions awkwardly. Some ideas are placed together without explaining their relationship, particularly the offer to arrange accommodation and the cooking claim. Use fewer, more accurate transitions and make each paragraph develop one main point in a clear order. This would make the organisation feel less mechanical and help the reader follow your message.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some task-relevant vocabulary, including “teaching experience,” “graduate,” “opportunity,” and “responsibilities,” and the reader can generally identify your main points. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make parts of the letter difficult to understand, such as “acommodation fasilities,” “batter cooking abilities,” and “my responsibilities are not fulfill this job.” Some phrases are also unnatural for a formal application, including “I would be great if you could appoint me.” Check spelling carefully and learn common collocations for job applications and family support. More precise wording would help you communicate your qualifications and offers without requiring the reader to interpret them.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences using connectors, but the range of structures is limited and errors recur in basic sentence patterns. For example, “I have graduate in Hindi subject” needs a correct verb form, while “I would be able to booking” uses an incorrect verb pattern. The sentence “my responsibilities are not fulfill this job” also has problems with verb form and sentence construction. These errors sometimes make your meaning unclear, although the overall message remains understandable. Practise accurate forms such as “I graduated in Hindi,” “I would be able to book,” and “my current responsibilities do not fulfil me.” Build confidence with simple, accurate sentences before adding more complex clauses.
