Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address all three requested points: you explain your suitability through patience and enjoyment of teaching, offer help with homework and reading, and give reasons for wanting the position, including improving your English and gaining international experience. The letter is relevant and its purpose is clear. However, some points are only briefly stated. For example, “hardworking, intelligent and patient” would be more convincing if supported by a specific teaching experience, and the additional help you could provide could be described more precisely. Your reasons for applying are understandable, but could be linked more directly to what you would contribute to the family. Developing these ideas with a concrete example would make the response more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The letter has a clear overall arrangement: an opening application, paragraphs about suitability and extra help, reasons for applying, and a polite closing. Linking phrases such as “First of all,” “Moreover,” and “In addition to” help signal the sequence of ideas. However, some connections feel mechanical, and the repeated references to teaching and explaining make the progression less smooth. In “I could introduced their my own culture,” the reference to “their” is unclear, which briefly disrupts the reader’s understanding. Group related points more tightly and use clearer references—for example, specify whether you mean the children or the family. This would make the organisation feel more natural and cohesive.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough vocabulary to communicate the main points, including “patient,” “activities,” “culture,” “festivals,” and “international experience.” However, the range is limited and several spelling, word-form, and collocation errors are noticeable, such as “instrested,” “intresting,” and “help their children homework.” These errors do not prevent the reader from understanding your purpose, but they make the letter less polished and sometimes require extra effort. Aim to learn common phrases for applications and teaching, and check spelling carefully. More precise wording would also help distinguish your personal qualities, teaching approach, and the practical support you can offer.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more developed sentences, including “I would be grateful if you considered my application,” and the main message remains understandable. However, verb forms and sentence patterns are often inaccurate: “I can preparing,” “I could introduced,” and “I would teaching” should use the base verb after these modal verbs. There are also errors in articles, prepositions, and sentence boundaries, as in “I am suitable to your job” and the run-together opening sentence. These mistakes sometimes make the reader pause, although the intended meaning is generally recoverable. Practise modal verb patterns and proofread each sentence for complete structure, punctuation, and correct verb forms.
