Moreover, I can provide personal tuition classes to your children at your house, if you are not able to pick and drop. I have obtained a number of awards from schools, colleges and Universities. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address all three requested points: you explain your teaching background and education degree, offer to teach at the family’s home, and give reasons for wanting the position. The qualifications and experience are relevant, but some details are asserted rather than explained—for example, mentioning awards does not show what they demonstrate about your suitability. The offer to help with transport is also conditional and slightly unclear, while your reason of wanting to learn about Australian culture is more developed than “I want to be linguistic.” To strengthen the letter, explain how your experience would benefit the children and give a clearer, more specific account of what else you could do for the family.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The letter has a clear overall arrangement: you introduce your interest, describe your qualifications and possible help, explain your motivation, and close politely. Paragraphing supports this progression, and linking expressions such as “Moreover” and “Also” make relationships between ideas visible. This is a coherent response, though some connections feel mechanical or do not develop the point—for instance, “Moreover” introduces a separate offer, while the awards and education degree are grouped together without explaining their relationship. The shift from teaching experience to transport assistance could also be smoother. Use more precise links between each claim and its relevance, and organise the supporting details so each paragraph has a clear focus.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use vocabulary relevant to the situation, including “teaching profession,” “tuition classes,” “learning ability,” and “culture and heritage.” These choices communicate the main ideas, and there is some attempt to use more formal language. However, several phrases are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “teaching to children,” “keen interested,” and “I want to be linguistic.” “Personal tuition classes” and “pick and drop” are also not natural choices in this context. These collocation and word-form problems make the letter sound less fluent, although the intended meaning is generally recoverable. Aim for conventional expressions such as “teach the children,” “keen to take the position,” and “help with school transport,” and choose vocabulary that precisely expresses your reasons.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a reason clause beginning “because” and a conditional clause with “if.” Most of the message remains understandable, but some grammatical errors are noticeable. For example, “I have teach” should use the past participle “taught,” and “I look forward to hear” requires “hearing.” There are also issues with articles and number in “all age group students,” and the sentence beginning “As I have a degree” needs clearer punctuation and structure. Capitalisation is inconsistent in “i” and “University.” Review verb forms after auxiliaries and fixed expressions, and check articles, plurals, and sentence boundaries. More consistently accurate complex sentences would improve control.
