Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address all three requested points: you explain your teaching background, offer to cook for the children, and give personal reasons for wanting the role. Details such as having taught in a private school and enjoying children’s company make the application relevant. However, some points are less fully developed or unclear. For example, you say you can teach English, although the advertisement asks for someone to teach your language; clarify which language you would teach and how your experience prepares you for that. Your offer to cook is useful, but could be explained more clearly in relation to the family’s needs. A more direct, confident statement of your suitability and a little more specific support for your claims would strengthen the letter.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The letter has a recognisable overall structure: you introduce yourself and your experience, describe what else you can offer, explain your motivation, and close politely. This makes the main purpose understandable. Paragraphing helps separate the ideas, although the first paragraph contains several different points and would be easier to follow if divided into shorter, focused sections. Some links are mechanical or unclear, particularly “Moreover” and “Make it point,” and the shift from your teaching experience to your children and then to the job’s location is abrupt. Use clearer transitions to show how each detail supports your application, and make references such as “your children” and “your loveones” precise.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some relevant vocabulary for an application, including “passion,” “experience,” “interests,” and “company,” and the reader can generally understand your intended meaning. However, spelling and word-choice errors are frequent enough to make parts of the letter difficult to interpret, such as “dvertisment,” “accupy,” “hundle,” and “swamed.” Several expressions are also unnatural or imprecise, including “enthusiasm position,” “children tenterm,” and “strong bound.” These issues limit the range and control of your vocabulary. Build a bank of accurate phrases for teaching experience and childcare, and check spelling and collocations carefully before sending the letter. Aim for clear, natural wording rather than trying to use elaborate expressions.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, for example, “I feel this is best opportunity for me to teach your children” and the sentence beginning “Moreover, I am good cooker…”. The overall message remains understandable, but there are frequent errors in sentence construction, articles, capitalization, and punctuation. Examples include “my name” after a full stop, “I did Degree,” and the run-together sentence “They are living another city for their job purposes. I am living alone at home.” Some longer sentences also lack clear grammatical connections, especially the cooking offer. Use complete sentences, check articles and prepositions, and separate ideas with appropriate punctuation. Practising accurate complex sentences will help you express your reasons more clearly.
