Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address all three requested points: you describe childcare experience and language ability, offer household help such as washing dishes and watering plants, and explain that you want more experience in childcare. These details make the letter relevant and its purpose clear. However, some points are not fully explained or are unclear. For example, “Australian language” does not identify the language you would teach, and the stated working hours are confusing (“from 8 am to 2 pm in the evening”). Your reasons for wanting the position are also brief and focus mainly on gaining experience. Clarify your language skills and availability, and develop your motivation with a specific reason for wanting to work with this family.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The letter has a clear overall arrangement: an opening, separate paragraphs about suitability, extra help, and motivation, followed by a closing. This makes the main points easy to locate. You also use linking expressions such as “Additionally,” “Whenever,” and “The main reason,” although some connections sound mechanical or do not express the intended relationship clearly. For instance, “Despite from this” is an awkward transition, and the sentence about your schedule is difficult to follow. The opening and closing are present, but the letter would flow more naturally if each paragraph developed one point with clearer links between sentences. Use simpler transitions where needed and check that pronouns and references clearly identify who is doing each action.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use vocabulary relevant to the situation, including “childcare sector,” “assistance,” “household work,” and “leisure time,” and you attempt some less common expressions such as “multifarious tasks.” However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, which sometimes makes the message harder to understand. “Australian language” is unclear in this context, while “eligible for teaching” and “I can also watering” do not express your meaning naturally. Spelling errors such as “experimece,” “thsi,” and “definately” are also noticeable. Aim for precise, familiar expressions rather than unusually formal words, and proofread spelling and word forms carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a reason clause beginning “The primary reason why…” and a sentence introduced by “Whenever.” The overall meaning is usually recoverable, but errors in sentence construction, verb forms, articles, and punctuation occur across the letter. For example, “I am writing to inquire you that” has an incorrect grammatical pattern, and “I can also watering the plants” uses the wrong verb form. In “I am eligible for part time job,” the article is missing, while several sentences use commas where a full stop or clearer clause structure is needed. Practise accurate patterns such as “I am writing to ask whether…” and check each sentence for a complete, correctly formed verb phrase.
