Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address all three requested points: you explain your suitability through your Gujarati and Hindi fluency and experience helping friends, offer homework and household support, and give personal reasons for applying. The letter is relevant and the purpose is clear. The suitability point is the strongest, while the extra help and motivation are less fully developed: for example, “assist when light household cleaning” is vague, and the wish to improve your “Australian language skill” could be explained more clearly. The response also shows some awareness of the expected letter format, but “Dear sir/madam” is less tailored than addressing the couple directly. Add specific examples of how you would teach the children and what practical help you can reliably provide.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The information is arranged in a generally logical order: you introduce your application, describe your teaching suitability, mention other help, and explain your motivation before closing. Paragraphing supports this progression, and connectors such as “Moreover,” “Apart from,” and “because” help link ideas. However, some links are mechanical, and a few sentences combine ideas without making their relationship clear, particularly the final motivation sentence about improving your language skills and sharing traditions. The phrase “I love to play with children also…” would benefit from clearer punctuation or a linking expression. To strengthen progression, give each paragraph one clear focus and use pronouns and connectors that make the relationship between each idea explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough vocabulary to communicate the main points, including relevant terms such as “native speaker,” “engaging activities,” “household cleaning,” and “traditions.” There are also attempts at more specific language, such as explaining the “deep meaning” of words. However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unclear, including “my native languages,” “typical words deep meaning,” “Australian language skill,” and “assist when light household cleaning.” Spelling and word-form slips such as “grammaer” and “maner” also reduce precision. These issues do not prevent the reader from understanding the overall purpose, but they make parts of the letter less natural. Choose common, accurate phrases and check spelling before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, for example, “I am a native speaker of both languages and I have often helped my friends…” and “I believe I would be an excellent candidate…”. The main message remains understandable, but errors in sentence construction and grammatical control are frequent enough to make some sentences awkward or difficult to follow. Examples include “I love to enjoy and interact with childrens also can create…” and “through toddlers can enjoy learning,” where clauses are not joined or formed correctly. There are also issues with articles, plurals, capitalization, and punctuation, as in “i,” “childrens,” and the spacing around commas. Practise building complete clauses and joining them with appropriate conjunctions; then proofread for agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries.
