Student answer (Band 6.0)
Now-a-days in many countries, paying for things using mobile phone apps is rapidly increasing. The development have more advantages and more disadvantages.
Secondly, We talk about some advantages of paying for things using cellphone apps. By paying through mobile phone apps the bill will be sent very fast or instantly. Moreover, it will help people to buy anything from online apps by sitting in homes. And now we talk about some disadvantages of paying for things using mobile phone apps. However, the old age people will face lot of difficulties paying through mobile phone apps because they are not familiar about the transactions what they are doing.
In addition, young age people are getting upgraded day-by-day and technology also growing rapidly. So, it will be suitable for the young people to adapt the technology and do the payments in a proper way. For example, once upon a time in my country we need to go for store to get a recharge for my mobile phone to make calls and accessing internet. But now-a-days there are lot of apps to get recharge your mobile phone instantly.
In my opinion, it is very hard for old age people using mobile phone apps for payments because in recent times there are large number scams are taking place. For example, the scammers are hacking cellphones and they are debiting amount from the bank accounts.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both advantages and disadvantages, but the development of ideas is limited. While you mention speed and convenience as advantages, and security concerns as disadvantages, these points are not fully extended. The position is clear, but the structure of the argument is somewhat repetitive and lacks depth. To improve, ensure each main point is supported by a clear explanation and a more detailed example. The conclusion is also quite brief and does not effectively summarize the main points or provide a final thought on the balance of the development.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical progression is sometimes hindered by awkward transitions. Phrases like 'Now-a-days' and 'Secondly, We talk about' are used in a mechanical way that does not always flow naturally. The use of cohesive devices is basic and occasionally repetitive. While the paragraphing is present, the internal structure of the paragraphs could be improved by using more varied linking words to connect ideas more fluidly. The referencing is generally clear, but the overall flow between sentences needs more sophistication to reach a higher band.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks variety and precision. You rely on simple, repetitive phrases such as 'paying for things' and 'mobile phone apps'. There are some inaccuracies in word choice, such as 'getting upgraded' and 'accessing internet', which sound unnatural. To improve, try to incorporate more topic-specific vocabulary related to digital finance, such as 'electronic transactions', 'cybersecurity', 'financial inclusion', or 'digital literacy'. Expanding your range of synonyms will help you express your ideas more clearly and effectively.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the reader. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('The development have'), missing articles ('go for store'), and awkward phrasing ('familiar about the transactions what they are doing'). Punctuation is generally functional, but there are errors in capitalization and sentence construction. To improve, focus on mastering basic subject-verb agreement and refining your use of articles and prepositions. Increasing the variety of complex sentence structures while ensuring accuracy will also help raise your score.
