Student answer (Band 6.5)
In many countries, paying for goods and services through mobile phone applications has become increasingly popular. While this trend has a few drawbacks, I believe that the advantages significantly outweigh the disadvantages because it offers greater convenience for financial management.
On the one hand , people can easily transfer to money where they can not carry card and cash. They can not stand one queue for bill payment and bank. Another major advantage is that mobile payment applications help users manage their finances more effectively. Every transaction is automatically recorded, making it easier to track spending and create budgets. In addition, digital payments reduce the risk of carrying large amounts of cash, which can be lost or stolen. Businesses also benefit because electronic payments simplify accounting and reduce the need to handle cash.
On flip side of the coin this type of application have some online fraud which is make better for cyber security that one protect their data and make unique experience.he disadvantages can be minimized through strong security measures such as two-factor authentication, biometric verification, and public awareness about online scams. As technology continues to improve, digital payment systems are becoming safer and more reliable.
In conclusion, although mobile payment applications present certain security and technical challenges, their benefits in terms of convenience, efficiency, and financial management are far more significant. Therefore, I believe this development has more advantages than disadvantages.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both advantages and disadvantages, and a clear position is maintained throughout. However, the essay is under the 250-word minimum requirement, which limits the depth of the arguments. While the advantages are well-supported with points about financial tracking and security, the discussion of disadvantages is somewhat underdeveloped and lacks specific examples. To reach a higher band, you should expand on your points with more detailed explanations and ensure you meet the minimum word count to allow for full development of your ideas.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand', 'Another major advantage', and 'In addition' are used to link ideas. However, there are some awkward transitions, such as 'On flip side of the coin', which is slightly unidiomatic. The progression of ideas is generally clear, but the flow between sentences could be improved to make the writing feel more cohesive and less mechanical.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'financial management', 'transaction', 'biometric verification', and 'cyber security'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'transfer to money' and 'make better for cyber security'. These errors do not impede communication, but they do limit the precision of your expression. To improve, focus on using collocations more accurately and incorporating a wider variety of topic-specific vocabulary.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors, such as 'they can not carry card' (missing article), 'They can not stand one queue' (preposition error), and 'which is make better' (incorrect verb form). These errors are noticeable but do not prevent the reader from understanding your main points. Increasing your control over basic grammar and refining your use of complex structures will help you achieve a higher score.
