Student answer (Band 6.0)
I think this is a common thing in nowadays because all people are pay for everything with their phones.I think it's more advantageous and less disadavetanges.
First and foremost reason, in today's time people watch different types of things in their phone and they also watch things videos and download many typues of applications in their phones. For instance, in Canada all people are very busy in their life like go to colleges and work places so they have not more time to eat something else. so then they can easy order online food on any location and any time.
Secondly, less prices and good quality. People buy things online, like clothes, shoes, and any jewellery items. some time they buy a very less price and the quality is good rather then go to stores. For example, during lockdown time, people are stuck at their home they do not go to any where. so on that time people are using their phones to much and easily recharge online through apps.
On the other hand, there are few disadvantages. Firstly, using phones are more harmful impact on our health. People's eyesight is also weak. NewsDay's, people are using to much phones and they do not like talking with anyone. they also use different apps like Flipkart, Amazon, etc. For example, in Canada people use this apps order online things like clothes and other things . they always waste their money because some time the thing quality is not good and waste our money. some time people miss use this apps .
To conclude, I think it is good idea for paying any pay by online the help of mobile phones because people anything online and its easy way. But its harmful for our health because the bad impact on children and the eye sight is also week.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both advantages and disadvantages of mobile payment apps. However, the development of ideas is limited and often repetitive. For instance, the argument about 'less prices' is not clearly explained, and the example regarding 'lockdown' is somewhat tangential to the core topic of mobile payments. The position is clear, but the supporting points lack depth and logical progression. To improve, you should focus on providing more specific, relevant examples and ensuring that each paragraph directly supports your main argument rather than drifting into general discussions about phone usage.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate, such as the awkward transition 'First and foremost reason' or the repetitive use of 'For example'. Referencing is sometimes unclear, particularly when shifting between the benefits of mobile payments and general phone usage. The flow between sentences is occasionally disjointed, making the progression of ideas feel somewhat forced. Using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring they are used in the correct context would significantly improve the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally basic and repetitive, which limits the expression of more complex ideas. There are several instances of word-choice errors and non-standard collocations, such as 'all people are pay for everything' and 'miss use this apps'. Spelling errors, such as 'typues' and 'disadavetanges', are also present. While the vocabulary is sufficient to convey the general meaning, it lacks the precision and range required for a higher band score. You should focus on learning common collocations and practicing the correct usage of academic vocabulary related to technology and finance.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay relies heavily on simple sentence structures. While there are some attempts at complex sentences, they are often marred by grammatical errors, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('people are very busy... so they have not more time') and incorrect tense usage. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with missing spaces after periods and incorrect capitalization. These frequent errors occasionally impede the reader's understanding. To improve, you should focus on mastering basic sentence construction, specifically subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles and prepositions, before attempting more complex structures.
