Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses the prompt by discussing both advantages and disadvantages, ultimately taking a clear position that the advantages outweigh the drawbacks. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention security and convenience, the points are presented in a list-like fashion rather than being fully extended with deep analysis. For example, the point about 'robbery' is mentioned but not explored in terms of its broader societal impact. To reach a higher band, ensure that each main idea is supported by a more detailed explanation or a more specific, illustrative example that connects back to the core argument.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas from the introduction to the conclusion. You use some cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'Moreover', and 'However' to link your thoughts. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical, and there are instances where the flow is interrupted by awkward phrasing, such as the transition in the second paragraph. Additionally, some referencing is slightly unclear, which occasionally forces the reader to re-read sentences to grasp the intended meaning. Improving the variety of linking words would enhance the overall flow.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to communicate your main points effectively. You use some topic-specific terms like 'banking app', 'security precautions', and 'fraud'. However, the range is somewhat limited, and there is a reliance on basic vocabulary. There are also some minor errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'increasing on a rapid rate' (should be 'at a rapid rate') and 'you money' (should be 'your money'). To improve, try to incorporate more precise academic vocabulary and ensure that word forms are used correctly in context.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt to use complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('user don't need', 'app track') and missing articles ('if anything wrong seen'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the use of semicolons and commas. These errors are noticeable and occasionally distract the reader, though they do not completely impede communication. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for subject-verb agreement would significantly improve your score.
