Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the topic of mobile payments but fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, reaching only 216 words. This significantly impacts the development of ideas. While you identify both advantages (convenience, security) and disadvantages (cyber fraud), the arguments are underdeveloped and lack a clear introduction or conclusion. To improve, you must expand on your points with more detailed explanations and specific examples to meet the length requirement and provide a more comprehensive discussion of the topic.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is divided into paragraphs, but the structure is weak. The use of cohesive devices is very limited; for example, the transition 'on the one hand' is used, but the overall flow between sentences is disjointed. There is a lack of logical progression, and the absence of a formal introduction and conclusion makes the essay feel like a collection of thoughts rather than a cohesive argument. You should focus on using a wider variety of linking words (e.g., 'furthermore', 'consequently', 'in contrast') to connect your ideas more effectively.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is quite basic and repetitive, with frequent spelling errors such as 'meny' for 'many', 'crintries' for 'countries', and 'sell phones' for 'cell phones'. The range of vocabulary is limited, and there is little attempt to use more sophisticated or topic-specific language. To improve, you should practice using synonyms and more precise terminology related to technology and finance. Additionally, careful proofreading is necessary to correct basic spelling mistakes that detract from the professional tone of your writing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The grammar is characterized by frequent errors that occasionally impede readability. There is a lack of punctuation, particularly in the first paragraph, which consists of long, run-on sentences. You struggle with basic sentence construction, subject-verb agreement, and article usage (e.g., 'as a bank representative of banker'). The range of structures is limited, relying mostly on simple sentences. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence punctuation, such as using periods to separate independent clauses, and work on developing more complex sentence structures.
