Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses the prompt by identifying the advantages of mobile payment apps. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention security and expense tracking, the arguments are repetitive and lack depth. For instance, the point about 'robbery' is mentioned twice in the second paragraph without adding new information. To reach a higher band, you should expand on your points with more specific examples or logical reasoning. The position is clear throughout, but the overall development is basic, which aligns with a Band 5.5 or 6.0 level of task response.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear introduction and conclusion. You use some cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'Moreover', and 'Furthermore'. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'as resalt mobile apps are assist as to probatited cime'. The progression of ideas is generally clear, but the lack of sophisticated linking between sentences occasionally makes the flow feel disjointed. Improving the variety and accuracy of your transition words will help improve the coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but there are frequent errors in word choice and spelling that occasionally impede clarity. For example, 'transjections' (transactions), 'cash snaching' (cash snatching), and 'probatited cime' (prohibited crime) demonstrate a lack of precision. You use some relevant topic-specific vocabulary like 'digital payments', 'security features', and 'unauthorized payments', which shows potential. To improve, focus on learning the correct spelling and collocations of common academic and business terms to ensure your meaning is conveyed accurately.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('apps are being increasingly prevalent'), missing articles, and awkward phrasing ('Not everyone is sufficient to keep record'). While the meaning is usually understandable, these errors are persistent and occur in almost every sentence. To improve, you should focus on basic sentence construction, subject-verb agreement, and the correct use of prepositions. Reducing these frequent errors is essential for moving into the higher band scores.
