Student answer (Band 5.0)
Most of people in different countries use mobile phones for paying for things which is increasingly common the one advantage of this development is you can go out cashless don't need to carry any wallet with you. You just need your cellphone and that's it.
This common paying system is really helpful for the community people can pay online from any where by just one click that's the good advantage of using cellphone apps.
No need to worry to carring wallet or any other heavy bags with you while going out moreover if you don't have a cash with you can simply use your cellphone to pay .
The disadvantage i saw in paying with the cellphone is what if the app you are using got hang or your cellphone battery got down then it cause a problem one must feel bad and stuck in the meddle of the any where for that you should must need some kind of backup plan which is carry little money with you just in case if something like this happened other wise i found it really good using mobile phones.
For example while you are at the fuel station and the app you are using for payment for some reason is not working so you need to pay by cash and if you don't have any at that time then that's the problem but you can use ATM for that if is any near you .
our all many countries believe this paying system is use full and good .

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both advantages and disadvantages of mobile payment systems. However, the development of ideas is quite limited and repetitive. The arguments regarding convenience are mentioned multiple times without being fully extended or supported with sophisticated reasoning. The conclusion is very brief and lacks a clear summary of your position. To improve, you should aim to structure your essay with distinct paragraphs for advantages and disadvantages, ensuring each point is supported by a clear explanation or a more detailed example. Currently, the response feels like a list of points rather than a cohesive argument.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay lacks clear paragraphing, which makes it difficult to follow the progression of ideas. There is a lack of cohesive devices; sentences are often linked by simple punctuation or run-on structures rather than logical connectors like 'furthermore', 'consequently', or 'on the other hand'. The referencing is sometimes unclear, and the flow between the advantages and disadvantages is abrupt. To reach a higher band, you must use paragraph breaks to separate distinct ideas and employ a wider range of linking words to guide the reader through your argument logically.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is basic and repetitive, relying heavily on simple terms like 'good', 'problem', and 'thing'. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and incorrect word choices, such as 'got hang' instead of 'freezes' or 'malfunctions', and 'meddle of the any where' instead of 'middle of nowhere'. While the meaning is generally conveyed, the lack of precision and the limited range of vocabulary prevent the essay from demonstrating the flexibility required for higher bands. You should focus on learning topic-specific collocations related to technology and finance.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors, including issues with subject-verb agreement ('Most of people'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are run-on, lacking proper punctuation to separate independent clauses. There is a very limited range of complex structures; most sentences are simple or contain errors when attempting to connect ideas. For example, 'you should must need' is grammatically incorrect. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring each sentence has a clear subject and verb, and practice using complex sentences with correct subordinating conjunctions.
