Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses the prompt by discussing both advantages and disadvantages of mobile payment apps. The position is clear from the introduction, and the main ideas are relevant. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat superficial. For example, the point about security is mentioned but not fully explained, and the discussion on disadvantages is brief. To reach a higher band, you should provide more detailed examples or deeper analysis for each point raised. The conclusion is a bit repetitive and does not fully synthesize the arguments presented in the body paragraphs.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. There is a logical progression from the introduction to the advantages and then the disadvantages. However, the use of cohesive devices is sometimes mechanical or inaccurate, such as 'Discussing the foremost merits of this thing is that...' and 'Not only this but for individuals can track...'. Additionally, some sentences are disjointed, and the referencing is occasionally unclear, which affects the flow of ideas. Improving the variety and precision of linking words would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. There is frequent repetition of basic words like 'payment', 'apps', and 'method'. Some word choices are unnatural or incorrect, such as 'free travel' instead of 'travel without carrying cash' and 'work-holic person'. You also struggle with collocations, for example, 'poor sense of using' and 'caused rejection of payment'. To improve, focus on learning topic-specific collocations and synonyms to avoid repetitive phrasing and to express ideas more naturally.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('this method have', 'this apps is'), article usage, and awkward sentence construction ('many countries people using mobile phone apps... is increasing'). There are also punctuation errors and issues with word order. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for subject-verb agreement would be very beneficial.
