Student answer (Band 5.0)
It has seen that in many nations, its very rare that people use mobile apps for what they have to pay extra. Although it has demerits but i think the benefits of it can not be ignored.
First, if talk about the advantages, if people use apps and they had to pay for it, its good for the economic development because if companies take charges from individuals , they get more benefits. But companies also had to pay tax for government as its a goldren rule that if we earn from our business upto $40,000,they had to pay 50%tax to the government, which will be helpful for the government to use on society. Overall, it will come back to the community as a local facility.
Secondly, those person who pay for using apps they can be more secure from cyber security. because these paid apps mostly required passwords and verification codes by email or sms. If someone try to to hack or steel another person information they can not be use it. Because when they try to hack ,the victom will be get msg and codes on their phones. At that time he or she can be more aware ab out it. For example, one month before, i got sms that someone using your instagram plz say yes and secure your data. When i called to instagram technician they said we did not send any sms, and its a fake .
In Conclusion, Although the drawbacks of it a lot. Person can not pay for some apps but the security of every person and the economic benefits can not be denied.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response attempts to address the prompt regarding the advantages and disadvantages of paying for things using mobile phone apps, though the interpretation of paying extra/paid apps is somewhat confused with digital payments generally. A position is presented, stating that the benefits cannot be ignored, and some ideas are put forward regarding economic development and cyber security. However, the development of these ideas is limited and often unclear due to convoluted reasoning. For instance, the link between paid apps and economic taxes is not fully articulated. The personal example regarding an Instagram message provides some support for the security argument, but overall, the ideas remain somewhat under-developed, aligning best with a Band 5 descriptor.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is divided into paragraphs with clear opening and concluding markers such as 'First' and 'In Conclusion', showing some basic organisation. However, there is no clear overall progression of ideas, and transitions between sentences can be disjointed. Cohesive devices are frequently inadequate or mechanically applied, such as the repetitive use of 'because' and pronoun referencing that is occasionally unclear, like 'its very rare that people use mobile apps for what they have to pay extra'. Paragraphing is attempted, but the internal logical flow within paragraphs is frequently disrupted by grammatical and structural issues, placing this performance at Band 5.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary range is limited and minimally adequate for the task. The student attempts some less common items such as 'economic development', 'cyber security', and 'verification codes', but these are accompanied by noticeable errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'steel another person information' instead of 'steal', 'victom will be get msg', and 'goldren rule'. Spelling errors like 'victom', 'msg', and 'ab out' occur, but the vocabulary used is sufficient to communicate the general gist of the argument, resulting in a Band 5 score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, such as 'Although it has demerits but i think...'. However, attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty, featuring persistent grammatical errors like missing auxiliary verbs, incorrect verb tenses, and conjunction errors ('Although... but...'). Punctuation and capitalization are also erratic, with lowercase 'i' used throughout. Frequent errors in grammar and punctuation cause difficulty for the reader at times, although basic meaning usually remains retrievable, fitting the Band 5 profile.
