Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both sides of the question and make your position clear: despite noting fraud and unreliable sellers, you conclude that mobile payments have made life easier. Relevant benefits include avoiding cash, saving time, and paying bills from home; the examples of ordering clothes and arranging medical appointments also connect to everyday experience. However, several points are asserted rather than explained. For instance, the claim that mobile payments have “decreased crime rate” needs qualification or support, and the point about sellers charging their “desired cost” is not clearly linked to app payments. Develop the strongest advantages and disadvantages with specific explanations, then compare their importance directly to show why the benefits outweigh the risks. This would make the argument more fully supported and balanced in its reasoning.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, a list of advantages, a list of disadvantages, and a concluding opinion. The numbered points make individual ideas easy to locate, and the final personal example reinforces your position. However, the lists create a catalogue rather than a sustained argument, so progression between ideas is limited. Some links are abrupt, such as moving from online fraud to sellers setting prices, and the conclusion repeats the convenience argument without weighing it against the risks. Use developed paragraphs organised around related ideas, and connect each claim to its explanation with clear referencing and transitions. This will make the essay feel more logically connected rather than relying mainly on numbering and repeated “It” or “We” openings.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “online fraud,” “Hackers,” “delivery services,” and “contagious disease,” and the reader can generally understand your meaning. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable, such as “commen,” “Carring,” “fuld expenses,” and “ree p benifits.” Some phrases are also imprecise or unnatural: “crime rate” is a broad claim, while “material quality is compromised” does not clearly describe the problem with an order. Aim for accurate spelling and more precise collocations, such as describing the risk of theft or the quality of goods. Vary repeated basic wording like “made life easier” by choosing expressions that fit the specific benefit being discussed.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

Most of your meaning is understandable, and you attempt some longer structures, including “People don’t need to stuck in long que to pay…” and “You can order anything from anywhere sitting at home.” However, sentence patterns are mostly simple or list-like, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and punctuation recur. For example, “don’t need to stuck” needs a verb form after “need to,” while “Chances of losing your money in robbery has decreased” has an agreement problem and an awkward article pattern. The opening also contains several sentence fragments or poorly joined statements. Practise building accurate complex sentences with clauses such as “Although apps are convenient, users may face fraud,” and check subject–verb agreement and sentence boundaries during editing.
