Student answer (Band 6.0)
In majority of the nations, there is an ongoing trend where individuals are making most of transactions using their smartphones. If asked, i firmly believe that this trend has more merits. My inclination is justified in the forthcoming paragraphs with relevant examples.
To begin with, using phone for different payment is pocket friendly for many people, This is because if a person is making any transaction using his smartphone than he will not only gain certain discounts by applying different coupans that are available on different phone application but also he will avoid the chances of getting robbed by thieves. To cite an example, according to an article published by the TOI- Times of Canada states that an average Canadian family saves more than 130$ monthly by paying thier bills through online apps.
Furthermore, payment through mobile phone strengthen the economy of the nation.By this i mean that if the people of a country prefer to make payment using online application, they will make certain foreign transactions which will help to increase the value of that nation's currency in the global market. To exemplify, according to a survey carried out by the government of India stated that more than 75% of Indians prefer online payment instead of cash payment, as a result the value of rupee jumped from 10th position to 4th posotion in global market.
All in all, it can be finally commented that making payment through phone is beneficial as it helps people to save money by applying certain discounts as well as it helps to increase the value of the currency in the global market are plausible.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the introduction: you believe mobile payments have more advantages, and the conclusion restates this view. You also give two relevant reasons—saving money through discounts and reducing the risk of theft, followed by a claimed benefit to the national economy—and include examples to support them. However, the first reason is more clearly explained than the second. The link between people making app payments and a currency rising in global value is asserted rather than demonstrated, and the examples are presented as statistics without explaining how they prove the point. Develop each main idea with a clearer cause-and-effect explanation and ensure examples directly support your argument.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs signposted by “To begin with” and “Furthermore,” and a concluding paragraph. This makes the main progression easy to follow, and the examples are placed alongside the relevant claims. Some linking is mechanical, however, and the second body paragraph moves quickly from app payments to foreign transactions and currency value without making the connection clear. The conclusion also combines several ideas in a sentence that is difficult to follow. Use transitions to show the relationship between claims, explanations, and examples, and make sure each paragraph develops one central point in a logical sequence.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of topic-related vocabulary, including “transactions,” “discounts,” “foreign transactions,” and “global market,” and the intended meaning is generally clear. There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “My inclination is justified” and “To exemplify,” though some expressions sound unnatural or are used inaccurately. Spelling and word-choice errors include “coupans,” “thier,” and “posotion,” while “pocket friendly” and “making payment” are not natural collocations in this context. Aim for accurate, natural combinations such as “cost-effective,” “make payments,” and “mobile payment applications,” and check spelling carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a conditional structure in “if a person is making any transaction … then he will not only gain…” and a concluding sentence that uses “as well as.” These attempts show some range, but errors in agreement, articles, verb forms, and sentence boundaries remain. For example, “payment through mobile phone strengthen” needs a singular verb, and “using phone for different payment” has missing or incorrect articles and number. Several sentences also run together after full stops, as in “nation.By this,” and the final sentence lacks a clear grammatical structure. Review subject–verb agreement, article use, and punctuation, then simplify sentences where needed to maintain accuracy.
