Student answer (Band 4.0)
In many countries, paying for things using mobile phone (cellphone) apps is becoming increasingly common because in this era, all people in the world use social media and use many applications for reaserch purposes. People use applications necesseraily that's why these countries paying for things using mobile phone (cellphone). As we know that there is advantages and disadvantages of everything. In some applications it is useful because some applications are not for all ages people sometime people under ages uses socialmedia for wrong/illegal purposes. But disadvange is that some people are illegible for that application and they have to use it for reaserch and important work but they cannot afford it. That's why they faces alot of problems in their life to pay for application reapedly. It makes me annoying in this place I am against it but not in illegal purposes. Alot of time I am also been facing this problem but as I am a student I use another application or websites. Sometime, it will give me information about another website or application as it cannot be open and I move to another website or application. But somehoew it is not good as our time and money both been wasted.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.0
You make an attempt to express a position, saying, “I am against it,” and you mention possible problems involving access, cost, and wasted time. However, the response does not clearly explain whether mobile payment apps themselves have more advantages or disadvantages; much of it shifts to social media, research applications, and access to websites. The examples are personal but difficult to connect to the question, and the main ideas are not explained or supported sufficiently. The response is also 179 words, below the required 250 words; 23 words copied from the task prompt were not counted. To improve, state your view directly about mobile payments, then develop relevant reasons and examples, such as convenience, security, or exclusion of people without smartphones.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.0
There is a basic attempt to connect ideas using phrases such as “As we know,” “But,” and “That's why,” and the response moves from a general introduction to personal experience. However, the progression is difficult to follow because several points are joined without clear relationships: the discussion moves from social media to age restrictions, affordability, research, and websites. There are no clear paragraphs to separate the position, reasons, and example, and references such as “it” and “this problem” do not always make clear what is meant. Organise the response into distinct paragraphs and use each one to develop a single relevant point, with clear links between the claim and its example.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some vocabulary relevant to technology and access, including “applications,” “illegal purposes,” “afford,” and “information,” so the reader can identify the general subject. However, the range is repetitive, with “application” and “website” used frequently, and several choices are inaccurate or unclear, such as “illegible for that application” and “pay for application reapedly.” Spelling errors including “reaserch,” “necesseraily,” and “disadvange” also reduce precision. These issues sometimes make the intended meaning hard to understand. Build a more precise range for the actual topic, including terms such as “mobile payments,” “digital transactions,” “payment security,” and “cashless services,” and check spelling and collocations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt to combine ideas in longer sentences, for example with “because” and “that's why,” and some simple statements are understandable. However, sentence structures are often incomplete or inaccurately formed, which makes relationships between ideas unclear. Examples include “there is advantages and disadvantages,” “these countries paying,” and “they faces alot of problems.” There are also problems with articles, agreement, and verb forms, as in “some people are illegible for that application.” Punctuation and sentence boundaries need attention, particularly where several ideas run together. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then add controlled complex structures—for example, “People may struggle to use payment apps if they cannot afford a smartphone.”
