Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You discuss possible benefits and risks of apps, including learning support for students and the danger of young people spending too much time on entertainment or encountering harmful people. However, the response only partially addresses the question: it focuses mainly on whether apps should be free or paid, rather than weighing the advantages and disadvantages of paying for things with mobile phone apps. Your opening also gives a mixed position, and the conclusion is unfinished (“In conclusion,A”), so your overall answer is not made clear. The examples are relevant to app use but are broad and not sufficiently explained. To strengthen the response, state directly whether mobile payments have more advantages or disadvantages, then develop reasons and examples that specifically concern paying by phone.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

There is an attempt to organise the response into an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and phrases such as “On the other hand” signal a contrast. However, the progression is difficult to follow because the discussion shifts from mobile payments to paid learning apps and then to free entertainment apps. The opening’s position is also hard to connect to the body paragraphs, while the final sentence stops before completing the conclusion. Some linking is mechanical or inaccurate, as in “first we talk about advantages” and “Because of free apps.” Improve coherence by keeping each paragraph focused on one aspect of the actual question, using clear topic sentences, and ensuring that the conclusion restates your position.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt some topic-related and less common vocabulary, including “precious time,” “crucial benefits,” “afford,” and “influence.” This gives you some range, but control is inconsistent: several misspellings and imprecise expressions make parts of the response difficult to understand, such as “learning absticals,” “significat help,” and “wrong functions.” Some phrases are also unnatural or unclear, including “cannot fuse free” and “subjective information and assistant.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully. For this topic, use precise terms such as “mobile payments,” “digital transactions,” “convenience,” and “security risks,” rather than discussing apps in general.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You use both short statements and attempts at longer sentences, for example, “They can take significat help from learning apps” and the conditional structure beginning “If all learning apps are required money.” However, the longer constructions are often faulty, and frequent errors in sentence formation, articles, agreement, and punctuation can make meaning unclear. Examples include “there are many apps in our mobiles,” “These apps help to them,” and “Sometimes parents unaware about their children activities.” Capitalisation and sentence boundaries are also inconsistent, particularly in “first we talk about advantages of the digital apps, From all over the world…” and the incomplete ending. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with controlled clauses and proofread each sentence for a complete subject and verb.
