Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You answer the question by taking the position that mobile payments have more advantages, and you include relevant benefits and drawbacks. The examples of using bKash and Upay to pay bills, and of an internet blackout disrupting online purchases, help connect your points to real situations. However, the comparison is not fully developed: the advantages receive more explanation, while the risks of theft, hacking and scam messages are listed briefly without showing how serious or manageable they are. The claim that mobile payments are “a biggest income source for government” is also unclear and does not directly support your argument. Explain the main benefits and disadvantages more precisely, then make the basis for your overall judgement explicit.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph on advantages, a paragraph on disadvantages and a conclusion. The contrast signalled by “However” is useful, and examples generally follow the points they illustrate. This meets the lower-band expectation of coherent organisation and also shows some progression between sections. To make the flow more consistently clear, improve links between individual claims and avoid abrupt transitions. For instance, the move from affordable phones and internet access to the claim about government revenue is not explained. The conclusion introduces the idea of keeping financial records without developing it earlier. Use clearer referencing and connect each example directly to the point it supports, rather than relying mainly on paragraph-level sequencing.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “cashless,” “revenue,” “internet blackout” and “time consuming,” and the reader can generally understand your meaning. There are also attempts to express specific risks, such as money being deducted after clicking a link. However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable and sometimes make the message less clear: “Payement,” “illeterate,” “loosing” and “foster” are examples. Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “a biggest income source” and “money has been flown here.” Build accuracy with common collocations for digital payments, and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise terms such as “transaction records,” “fraudulent links” and “secure payment methods” would help you express your ideas clearly and appropriately.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including conditional structures such as “If anyone’s phone become stolen or missing…” and a relative clause in “people those who pay online.” This shows some range, but control is inconsistent. Errors in verb forms and agreement appear in examples such as “mobile app become popular,” “internet facilities…which make,” and “government are now foster.” Articles and sentence construction also need attention, as in “it becomes a biggest income source” and “it sometimes make some trouble.” These errors can make the reader pause, although the main ideas remain understandable. Practise checking each sentence for a clear subject and correctly matched verb, and use shorter, accurate sentences before adding subordinate clauses.
