Student answer (Band 5.5)
As we all know, in today's world mobile phones are playing crucial roles as everyone need them whether they want to connect with their family, relatives for their studies.Accoding to me, mobile apps are much more in trands these days and the advantages of these apps outweighs the disadvantages.
In my prosepective,we are using mobile apps as basic need or are of utmost experience. In addition to this in country like canada we are completely depend on them like for food, commute, meet and greet, job opportunities and so on.As for instance, I am using uber app daily because I am living in brampton so my day start with mobile apps first of all I open my snapchat and instagram for any updates from my friends and after that I use what's app daily to connect with my family as they are in India or whenever
I want to talk to any relative.Following this, I use presto app to get access to bus service and uber in between as it helps me to reach on time.At last , in evening when i am back from my work I use presto app then uber app for u er ears or for my dinner. Moreover, I am using scotia app daily for basic transactions between friends or family and to have service from grocery stores or showrooms etc.At last,I also want to mention some negative sides of these apps as well like if subscribe them once like pdf filter or many ai related apps they do detuct money every month
as sometimes we forget to unsubscribe them and there are tax charges on them as well which cannot be afforded by everyone.
In my viewpoint, advantages of mobile apps are much more than disadvantages as they are made for modern society or for our ease so that we can get access to daily services.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You state a clear view that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, and your examples of using transport, messaging and banking apps make the topic relevant to your experience. You also acknowledge a drawback: recurring charges when users forget to cancel subscriptions. However, the response only partly addresses the specific question because much of the discussion concerns mobile apps generally, rather than paying for things through phone apps. The disadvantages are briefly mentioned, and the benefits of app-based payments are not explained in detail. To strengthen the response, focus on payment-related benefits such as speed or convenience, balance these against risks such as fraud or overspending, and explain how each example supports your position.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
There is an identifiable overall direction: you introduce your opinion, give examples from daily life, mention a disadvantage and restate your view. Sequencing words such as “In addition to this,” “Following this” and “Moreover” help signal movement between points. However, the response is presented as one long paragraph, so the main ideas are not clearly separated. The repeated “At last” is also not an accurate signal for the points that follow, and the extended list of apps makes the progression difficult to follow. Use separate paragraphs for your position, supporting advantages, disadvantages and conclusion. Group related examples and use clearer links to show how they support the argument about paying by app.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “transactions,” “subscribe,” “tax charges” and “daily services,” and the examples show an attempt to describe a range of app uses. However, the vocabulary is often repetitive or imprecise, particularly the repeated use of “apps” and general phrases such as “basic need” and “for our ease.” Several spelling and word-choice errors, including “prosepective,” “trands” and “detuct,” make parts of the response less clear. Some expressions also do not fit the intended meaning, such as “utmost experience.” Build a more precise range for the question by using terms related to digital payments, convenience, security and recurring fees, and check spelling and collocations during revision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including sentences with reasons and examples, but control is inconsistent. Errors in agreement and verb forms appear in phrases such as “everyone need them,” “the advantages … outweighs” and “my day start.” Articles and sentence construction are also problematic in “in country like canada” and “I am using mobile apps as basic need.” Several sentences run together or contain unclear punctuation, especially the long account of your daily routine, which makes relationships between ideas harder to follow. Practise building shorter, complete sentences first, then combine them accurately with clauses using “because,” “although” or “which.” Check subject–verb agreement, articles and sentence boundaries when proofreading.
