Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0

The letter addresses all three bullet points of the prompt. You explain why your friend would enjoy camping, mention some disadvantages (though these are somewhat overshadowed by the positive aspects), and confirm your interest in joining. However, the task asks for 'disadvantages,' and you primarily listed benefits like discounts and medical services. To improve, ensure you clearly contrast the pros and cons. For example, you could mention the lack of modern amenities or unpredictable weather as disadvantages. The tone is appropriate for a letter to a friend, and the purpose is clear throughout.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0

The letter is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each focusing on a specific aspect of the prompt. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Moreover,' 'firstly,' and 'secondly' to link your ideas. However, some of these transitions feel a bit mechanical or slightly misused, such as 'Since, i am also off this summer...' which does not connect logically to the previous sentence. The progression of ideas is generally easy to follow, but more varied linking words would improve the flow and make the writing feel more natural.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using words like 'hectic schedule,' 'equipment,' and 'sufficient.' There are some minor errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'visited to a camping site' (should be 'visited a camping site') and 'taking advantages in an emergency' (should be 'taking advantage of'). While these errors do not impede communication, they indicate a need for more precise usage. To reach a higher band, try to incorporate more idiomatic expressions or less common collocations appropriate for an informal letter.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.5

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors, including punctuation issues (e.g., 'Although, it is a crowded place,' should not have a comma after 'Although'), capitalization errors ('i' instead of 'I'), and tense inconsistencies ('planed' instead of 'planned'). Additionally, there are some minor subject-verb agreement issues, such as 'this site provide' (should be 'provides'). While these errors are frequent, they do not prevent the reader from understanding your message. Focusing on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and capitalization would significantly improve your score.
