Dear hareem,

I hope you are doing well .Today I am writing you in response of your previous letter and asked my advice about your coming summer trip .I am also on same page of planning to hangout somewhere in this summer. .some of advices I'd recommend you before setting off. If you are going to choose Fair meadows for your trip it's a great decision, because Fair meadows is a pleasant place with breathtaking meadows ,valley's view, waterfalls every place is worth watching .This trip going to be amazingly enjoyable.

secondly, few drawbacks of going there the passage toward Fair meadows is quiet narrow and you must hire local jeep that is , a bit costly .Moreover I would be happy if I also accompanied you in this trip, Since I was also planning to go over there but, due to my hectic routine I can't able to go alone .

best wishes ,

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response addresses all three bullet points of the task. You explain why your friend would enjoy camping, describe the disadvantages regarding the narrow passage and cost, and express your interest in joining. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For example, the description of the disadvantages is brief, and the explanation of why your friend would enjoy the trip could be more detailed to fully satisfy the requirements of a Band 7 or higher. The tone is appropriate for a letter to a friend, but the overall development of ideas remains at a basic level.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The letter is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is somewhat mechanical and occasionally inaccurate. For instance, the transition 'secondly' is used to introduce the second bullet point, but the flow between sentences within paragraphs is sometimes disjointed. The punctuation is inconsistent, particularly with the placement of periods and spaces, which occasionally disrupts the logical progression of ideas. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring consistent paragraphing would enhance the coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.5

You use a sufficient range of vocabulary to convey your message, such as 'breathtaking', 'hectic routine', and 'worth watching'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'I am also on same page of planning to hangout' and 'I can't able to go alone'. These errors do not impede communication, but they indicate a limited control over more complex lexical items. To reach a higher band, focus on using more natural collocations and ensuring that your word choices are precise and contextually appropriate.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The response contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors, including missing articles ('the passage'), incorrect verb forms ('This trip going to be'), and issues with sentence boundaries and punctuation (e.g., 'I am writing you in response of your previous letter and asked my advice'). While these errors are frequent, they rarely impede the reader's understanding of your main points. To improve, pay closer attention to subject-verb agreement, correct preposition usage, and consistent punctuation.
