Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses all three bullet points, but the development of ideas is very limited. The explanation of why the friend would enjoy camping is brief, and the description of disadvantages is somewhat unclear due to grammatical issues. Furthermore, the letter is significantly under the 150-word minimum requirement, which negatively impacts the overall task achievement. To improve, you should expand on your points by providing more specific details or examples to meet the length requirement and demonstrate a more thorough engagement with the prompt.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The letter lacks a clear structure or paragraphing. While there is a basic attempt to address the bullet points, the flow of ideas is disjointed. There is a lack of cohesive devices to link sentences and ideas together, making the text feel like a series of isolated statements rather than a coherent letter. To improve, use transition words such as 'furthermore', 'however', or 'consequently' to connect your thoughts and organize your response into distinct paragraphs for each bullet point.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is quite basic and repetitive. Phrases like 'many activities' and 'it is good time' are simplistic and lack the precision expected at higher levels. There are also issues with word choice, such as 'light issues' (likely meaning electricity) and 'Kashmir has difficult from water', which hinders clarity. To improve, try to use more descriptive adjectives and precise nouns related to travel and camping, and focus on using words in their correct collocations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5

There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including missing articles ('in the camp'), incorrect verb tenses ('Whenever you wil go'), and awkward sentence structures ('I am writing a letter you will go camping'). The punctuation is also inconsistent, with missing commas and periods. The range of structures is very limited, consisting mostly of simple sentences. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, subject-verb agreement, and the correct use of articles and prepositions.
