A friend of yours is thinking of going on a camping holiday for the first time this summer. He/She has asked for your advice. Write a letter to your friend. In your letter

• explain why you think your friend would enjoy a camping holiday
• describe some possible disadvantages
• say whether you would like to go camping with your friend this summer

Dear Kamal,

I'm glad you asked for an advice on camping holiday.

I'm sure you would enjoy it a lot as it will be your first time going on something adventurous like camping. Moreover, you need a holiday break now after studying for so long for your college exam. So going on a camping holiday this summer is a great idea.

However, I must let you know that camping is not everyone's cup of tea. There are some demerits if it is compared with usual holidays where we can relax and unwind. While camping one has to be prepared to walk long tracks in forest and even sleep in open area in the forest.

I am myself interested to go for camping this summer and I think I can join you along in your first adventure. This way I can share my earlier experience with you and guide you myself on your first camping holiday.
