Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0

You have addressed all three bullet points in the prompt: explaining why your friend would enjoy camping, describing disadvantages, and offering to join the trip. The tone is appropriate for a letter to a friend, and the purpose is clear throughout. However, some ideas could be developed further. For instance, while you mention bears as a disadvantage, explaining how to mitigate this risk or mentioning other common drawbacks like lack of facilities would provide a more comprehensive response. Overall, the task is fully addressed, and the position is consistent throughout the letter.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0

The letter is logically organized with clear paragraphing. Each paragraph focuses on a specific aspect of the prompt, which helps the reader follow your ideas easily. You use some cohesive devices such as 'However', 'Along with this', and 'Fortunately' to link your thoughts. While the flow is generally good, some transitions feel slightly mechanical. To improve, try to vary your linking phrases and ensure that the connection between sentences is always smooth. The use of referencing is generally clear, and the letter follows a standard, easy-to-follow structure.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You have a sufficient range of vocabulary to convey your message clearly. You use some topic-specific terms like 'alleviate academic stress' and 'encounter with wild animals'. However, there are some minor inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'camping is combination of advantureous and relaxation trip' (should be 'a combination of adventure and relaxation') and 'frust time' (first time). Additionally, there are some spelling errors like 'advantureous' and 'perefer'. Improving your control over word forms and spelling will help you reach a higher band score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While your meaning is always clear, there are frequent grammatical errors that affect the accuracy of your writing. For example, 'there are some important information' (should be 'is'), 'you choose to go' (should be 'chose' or 'have chosen'), and 'it hard for some people' (missing 'is'). These errors are noticeable but do not prevent the reader from understanding your message. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles and auxiliary verbs in your sentences.
