Dear Herry,
I hope you are doing well. I just received your letter and found that you are going on the camping holiday this summer. I believe that you are going to have a lot of fun there.
This is going to be a great memorable event n your life. You will explore natural habitat and learn new things about the environment. You will kwon that living without any applications can also be a great adventure. You will cook on fire which will be one of the best experiences of all. Spending time in nature, have a BBQ, have a bonfire and making a tent to sleep will be the exciting. You must go an early morning hick to the area where sun rise is visible that would be fun.
There is no doubt this is going to be best adventure of your life, but you need to take some precaution too. As you are going to forest for the camping it is important to learn a few thing for the self defense. Knowing about the surrounding of the camping site is must as if in any circumstances you must be able to navigate yourself easily. You must learn to operate compass for direction. This is the things to be kept in mind to make sure that that the trip goes well.

I hope you have a great exciting things to explore. Be safe and have a lot of fun.
Yours,
Vedangi

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
You have successfully addressed all three bullet points in the prompt. You explained why your friend would enjoy camping, described potential disadvantages such as the need for navigation skills and self-defense, and clearly stated your interest in joining the trip. The tone is appropriate for a letter to a friend. However, the development of ideas is somewhat repetitive, and some points, such as 'self-defense' in a forest, are slightly unclear or exaggerated. To reach a higher band, ensure your ideas are more logically connected and fully explored rather than just listed.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The letter is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your ideas. You use some cohesive devices like 'Well' and 'There is no doubt', but the transitions between sentences can feel a bit mechanical. Some sentences are slightly disjointed, such as the jump from cooking on a fire to the general excitement of the trip. The use of referencing is generally clear, but improving the variety of linking words would help the flow of the letter feel more natural and sophisticated.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You have an adequate range of vocabulary to convey your message clearly. You use some good phrases like 'memorable event' and 'natural habitat'. However, there are several instances of awkward word choice or minor errors, such as 'applications' instead of 'appliances', 'hick' instead of 'hike', and 'sun rise' instead of 'sunrise'. These errors do not impede communication, but they do limit the precision of your writing. Expanding your vocabulary to include more specific collocations related to outdoor activities would improve your score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, such as 'you are going on the camping holiday' (should be 'a'), 'kwon' (spelling error for 'know'), and 'this is the things to be kept' (subject-verb agreement). Additionally, there are punctuation issues and missing articles throughout the text. While these errors rarely prevent understanding, they are frequent enough to keep the score in the 6.0 range. Focusing on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and article usage will help significantly.
