A friend of yours is thinking of going on a camping holiday for the first time this summer. He/She has asked for your advice. Write a letter to your friend. In your letter

• explain why you think your friend would enjoy a camping holiday
• describe some possible disadvantages
• say whether you would like to go camping with your friend this summer

Dear Ram,

I was glad to get your letter and it was great to know you're planning for summer camping at a hill station.. Let me share a few thoughts with you.

I strongly believe you will enjoy the camping for several reasons. Firstly, hill stations provide breathtaking mountain veiws and the weather is quite colder than urban cities. In addition, you could enjoy the peaceful environment and spend quality time with your family. There are several activities you could perform while camping such as tracking and river rafting.

However, there are some drawbacks too while camping at hill station. The weather is unpredictable, so It would be beneficial to carry raincoats and waterproof shoes. Moreover, the price of food is expensive due to high transportation charges which could impact your overall budget.

My family and I would like to join you for summer camping. We could share the travel and food expenses equally and spend some quality time together.
