Dear friend,

I'm writing this letter to inform you that I received your letter that your are going on camping on this summer vacations, Moreover, this is your first time to go for a camping by you're own, I'm so happy for you to see making plans for yourself.

Furthermore, before you going on trip you should have all the planning related to where are you going? and when its good time to go? I would suggest you to go by mid of your holidays because that time you might be see more clear weather for camping. In addition to that, your are going to see mountains that is very beautiful place but sometimes weather on that site is totally bad so you have to take all the necessary things with you .

I hope this letter will help you to complete your trip without any problems, and I wants to come with you as I have vacations too, if you want my company please let me know we would have great fun together.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

You have addressed all three bullet points required by the task. You explained why your friend would enjoy camping, mentioned potential disadvantages such as bad weather, and expressed your interest in joining them. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the advice regarding the 'mid of your holidays' and the 'necessary things' is quite general. To reach a higher band, you should provide more specific examples or personal anecdotes to flesh out your points. The tone is appropriate for a letter to a friend, and the purpose of the letter is clear throughout.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The letter is organized into logical sections, and you have used some cohesive devices such as 'Moreover', 'Furthermore', and 'In addition to that'. However, the flow between sentences is occasionally hindered by awkward phrasing and punctuation errors. For example, the transition between the opening and the advice section feels a bit abrupt. Paragraphing is present, but the structure within the paragraphs could be improved to ensure a smoother progression of ideas. Some of the linking words are used mechanically rather than naturally, which impacts the overall coherence of the response.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to communicate your ideas clearly. You use common words effectively, such as 'vacations', 'mountains', and 'planning'. However, there is a lack of less common or more precise vocabulary that would demonstrate a higher level of language control. There are also some minor word-choice errors, such as 'see more clear weather' instead of 'clearer weather' and 'on that site' instead of 'in that area'. Expanding your range of descriptive adjectives and collocations would help improve your score in this criterion.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

You demonstrate a mix of simple and some complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally distract the reader. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'your are going', 'I wants to come'), incorrect preposition usage, and run-on sentences. For example, 'I'm writing this letter to inform you that I received your letter that your are going on camping on this summer vacations' is grammatically cluttered. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to prevent a higher score. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for subject-verb agreement will be very beneficial.
