Firstly, I would like to say about, I know you like travelling because of that, I think you also like this campaign holiday for the first time this summer.

Overall5.0

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 150 words, which significantly impacts the development of ideas. While you attempted to address the three bullet points, the content is underdeveloped and repetitive. For example, the explanation of why your friend would enjoy camping is vague, and the description of disadvantages is limited to a single safety tip rather than a broader discussion of the challenges of camping. To improve, you must expand on your points with specific details and examples to ensure the task is fully addressed and the length requirement is satisfied.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The letter uses basic cohesive devices such as 'Firstly', 'Secondly', and 'Lastly' to organize the points. However, the progression of ideas is disjointed, and the sentences often lack logical flow. The paragraphing is insufficient, and the overall structure feels mechanical. The referencing is sometimes unclear, particularly in the opening where the purpose of the letter is confused. To achieve a higher band, focus on using a wider range of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph develops a single, clear idea that connects logically to the next.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is quite limited and repetitive. You frequently misuse the word 'campaign' instead of 'camping', which indicates a lack of awareness of basic collocations. The range of vocabulary is insufficient to express complex ideas or provide detailed advice. There are also errors in word choice, such as 'whether' instead of 'weather'. To improve, you should focus on learning topic-specific vocabulary related to travel and outdoor activities and practice using these words in correct contexts.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The grammatical range is limited to simple sentence structures. There are frequent errors in sentence construction, such as 'I am writing to ehance a campaign holiday' and 'I would like to say about, I know you like travelling'. These errors, combined with issues in punctuation and word order, occasionally impede the clarity of your message. To improve, you need to practice forming more complex sentences using conjunctions and relative clauses, and pay closer attention to basic subject-verb agreement and word order.
