Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

You have addressed all three bullet points in the prompt: explaining why your friend would enjoy camping, describing the disadvantages, and confirming your interest in joining. The tone is appropriate for a letter to a friend. However, the development of ideas is somewhat basic. For example, when discussing disadvantages, you mention a lack of facilities but do not elaborate on how this might impact the experience beyond a general statement. To reach a higher band, try to provide more specific examples or personal anecdotes to support your points, which would make the response more engaging and fully developed.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The letter is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each focusing on one of the required points. You use some cohesive devices such as 'However', 'Moreover', and 'Nevertheless' to link your ideas. However, the flow is occasionally interrupted by minor errors in punctuation and sentence structure, such as the run-on sentence in the first paragraph ('camping also allow to explore...'). Additionally, some transitions feel a bit mechanical. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and ensure that your sentences are clearly separated to help the reader follow your argument more smoothly.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for this task, using words like 'unforgettable', 'uncomfortable', and 'opportunities'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'less facilities' (should be 'fewer facilities') and 'camping is depend on' (should be 'camping depends on'). You also use 'seat around' instead of 'sit around'. While these errors do not impede communication, they indicate a need for more precise control over word forms and common collocations to reach a higher band level.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, which is good. However, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('camping also allow', 'camping is depend') and missing articles or incorrect verb forms ('might be you facing'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with several instances of lowercase letters at the start of sentences and missing commas. To improve, focus on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and ensuring that your complex sentences are grammatically sound.
