Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.0

You make an attempt to respond to a friend and indicate that you would like to spend time together, but the main requirements are not adequately addressed. The letter does not explain why your friend might enjoy camping, and it gives no specific disadvantages, such as uncomfortable weather or limited facilities. Your statement that you are “very found of going holday vacation with friends” suggests enthusiasm for holidays generally, but does not clearly answer whether you will go camping with this friend this summer; later, “we will go to gather” is also unclear. To improve, answer each bullet point directly and add a brief reason or example for each. Use a clear, consistent position about joining the trip.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.0

The response has a recognisable letter-like sequence: a greeting, an explanation for replying late, and comments about the holiday. However, the ideas do not progress clearly from the requested advice to the disadvantages and your decision about joining. Several linking expressions, including “First of all” and “Now,” introduce material that does not develop the camping topic, while “But” and “and” connect ideas whose relationship is difficult to follow. The response is also presented as one continuous block, making its shifts harder to track. Organise it into short paragraphs, one for enjoyment, one for possible drawbacks, and one for your decision, using clear references and transitions.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt a range of expressions, including “critical situation,” “enjoy all the moment,” and “memories for Future,” and the general purpose of writing about a holiday can be inferred. However, inaccurate spelling, word forms, and collocations often make the message difficult to understand: “latter” for “letter,” “found of” for “fond of,” and “humble coloration” do not convey the intended meanings reliably. Some wording is also vague, such as “all the moment” and “critical reason.” Choose familiar, accurate vocabulary before attempting elaborate phrases, and use camping-specific terms to answer the task. Checking spelling and common word partnerships would make your ideas clearer and more natural.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, for example, “I hope you will be all right” and the sentence beginning “First of all i am very sorry.” However, control is inconsistent: sentences run together without appropriate punctuation, and the opening “Hello dear friend.I hope…” needs a space and clearer sentence boundaries. There are also problems with articles, verb forms, and sentence construction, as in “i have no time” and “you inquired me about holiday plan.” These errors sometimes make relationships between ideas unclear. Practise building accurate short sentences first, then combine them with conjunctions. Check capitalisation, full stops, and the grammatical patterns used with verbs such as “inquire.”
