Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 2.5
The letter begins appropriately and offers some relevant practical advice, such as taking rain protection and bringing medicine. However, it does not address the task as a whole: it does not explain why Arsh would enjoy camping, describe disadvantages of the holiday, or say whether you would join them. The advice about weather and supplies is also brief and not developed into reasons or examples. The response is 60 words below the required minimum, which leaves too little space to cover the three requested points. To improve, answer each bullet explicitly, explain your reasons, and add a suitable closing to complete the letter.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
There is a basic sequence of advice, signalled by “First” and “secondly,” so the reader can follow the general direction of the message. The opening also establishes a friendly context. However, the response has no paragraphing or closing, and the ideas do not progress through the three parts of the task. Some links are mechanical, and the final sentence about forecasting the weather is not clearly connected to the preceding advice. Organise the letter into a short opening, separate paragraphs for enjoyment, disadvantages and your plans, then a closing. Use linking phrases to show how each point relates to the next.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary is sufficient to communicate a few basic ideas about camping, including “raincoats,” “medicine” and “weather forecasting.” There are also attempts to use topic-related language, but several word choices, forms and spellings are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “disturption,” “essentials medicine” and “weather forcasting.” These errors sometimes make the intended meaning less clear. Aim to learn common word partnerships and check spelling and word forms before submitting. More precise language for the requested points—such as describing the appeal of outdoor activities or the inconvenience of poor facilities—would also help you express a fuller range of ideas.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response uses simple statements and attempts longer conditional or time clauses, for example, “if weather is not good then your camping could not be effected” and “When you will plan about camping.” These attempts show some range, but the structures are often faulty. There are errors with articles, verb forms and sentence boundaries: “I hope you are doing good.I am very glad” needs clearer punctuation, while “you will decide” is not the natural tense for a decision already made. The sentence about taking raincoats also has an unclear structure. Practise accurate advice forms such as “take a raincoat in case it rains” and use present simple after “when” for future plans.
