Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address all three points: you explain that your friend loves nature and travel, mention insects and the difficulty of finding water, and clearly say, “I would like to go on vacations with you.” These are relevant ideas, and the letter’s friendly purpose is clear. However, some points are less fully developed than others. The reasons your friend would enjoy camping are brief, and the disadvantages section shifts into advice about supplies rather than explaining how these problems might affect the holiday. Add a specific example of an enjoyable activity and explain the likely impact of each drawback. This would make your response more fully developed while keeping its personal tone.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The letter has a clear overall arrangement: an opening, reasons to enjoy camping, possible disadvantages, and your answer about joining your friend. Sequencing words such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “One more thing” help readers follow the list of drawbacks. Some connections are mechanical, however, and the sentence beginning “Because you’re nature lover person” is separated from the idea it explains, making the flow less smooth. The advice about carrying food, water, and a first-aid kit also interrupts the explanation of disadvantages. Link each reason and its consequence more directly, and use paragraph transitions that show how the ideas relate rather than relying mainly on list markers.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “demerits,” “insects,” “disturb,” and “first aid kit.” There are also attempts at less common expressions, such as “shed some light,” though this phrase is not a natural fit for introducing disadvantages. Several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or awkward, including “camping holidays in this summer,” “nature lover person,” and “do a lots of fun.” Spelling errors such as “courious” and “togather” are noticeable and can distract the reader. Aim for natural, precise phrases suited to an informal letter, and check spelling and word forms carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, and the overall meaning is generally understandable. Some grammatical errors remain, particularly with verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries. For example, “I hope your doing well” should use a possessive form, while “I am look forward to hear” needs a different verb pattern. “Because you’re nature lover person” is a fragment, and “Which could disturb you’r sleep” is also separated from the sentence it depends on. Review article use and singular/plural agreement, and combine dependent clauses with the main clause. More accurate control of these patterns would make the letter smoother and clearer.
