Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address all three points in the task: you explain that your friend may enjoy camping because she loves nature and can try activities such as hiking and boating, mention risks and practical drawbacks, and clearly say you would like to join her. The advice is relevant and the friendly letter format is appropriate. Some points, however, are less fully developed than others. For example, the disadvantages are mainly listed—animals, mosquitoes, and the lack of food outlets—without explaining how your friend could prepare for or manage them. The reason you would enjoy going is also brief. Add a little explanation or a specific example to make these ideas clearer and more persuasive.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The letter has a recognisable progression: you introduce your advice, describe benefits, move to disadvantages, and finish by saying you would like to go. Paragraph breaks help separate these main points, and expressions such as “Furthermore” and “Moreover” signal transitions. However, some linking is mechanical, and the sequence within the first paragraph is not always easy to follow—for instance, the ideas about your previous trip, your friend’s enjoyment, and going with college friends run together. A few references are unclear, such as “our college friends,” and punctuation around transitions is inconsistent. Use clearer paragraphing and connect each point with a more direct explanation rather than relying mainly on linking words.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main advice, including “camping,” “hiking,” “boating,” “life jacket,” and “mosquitos.” There are also attempts at more specific language, such as “explore new place.” However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unclear, including “some suggestion,” “mountain camping is the best exploration,” and “food court” for facilities where campers might buy meals. Spelling and informal forms such as “u,” “definatly,” and “ver” also reduce the appropriacy of the letter. Aim for natural phrases and check spelling; for example, describe camping as an opportunity to “explore the outdoors” and refer to “places to buy food.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, and the reader can generally understand your main message. Some grammatical errors remain, particularly in verb forms and sentence construction. Examples include “you will planing to going,” “I planing to go,” and “I would like to give some suggestion,” where the verb forms or agreement need correction. There are also errors in articles and sentence boundaries, as in “I love to explore new place” and “Hi,I hope you are doing well.i.” These issues sometimes make the letter less smooth, although the overall meaning is usually recoverable. Practise forming complete sentences with consistent tense, and check capitalisation and punctuation when editing.
